The Law and Practice Relating to Pollution Control in the Federal Republic of Germany

This set of volumes was first written in the performance of a contract between the Commission of the European Communities and Environmental Resources Ltd, consultans specialising in environmental research, planning and management. The object was to present an outline of each of the member states pollution control laws in such a form that they could readily be compared. Supplemented by some of the documents referred to in the volumes, with each national volume in the native language, and English, and the comparative survey in English and French, it was submitted in December 1974, as a reference work to be used principally in the task of carrying out the Comunities programme for action on the environment, and where appropriate for the harmonisation of the member states pollution control laws.
